Byrd Academy Room 405 5th
We need a whole new school building at Byrd Academy. The main reasons
are the gym room, the classroom, lunchroom, and the stage auditorium.
They are not good they are old and rusty. To fix these problems
individually would help. We need a new school building to satisfy our
needs.
The classrooms are not a good place to work and learn. The classroom
doors are old and rusty and messed up. The classrooms' windows are
messed up. They have holes in them and they are plastic windows. You
cannot see through them. The classrooms walls are dirty and rusty and
have spider webs on the walls. Also the classrooms need some lockers
because people can steal things out our book bags. When we hang up our
coats we have to twist the coat hangers around and sometime they fall
and people start stepping on their coats. Kids get mad and are ready to
fight that's why we need lockers. For I thing will not get messing.
Another reason we need a new school is because of the gym. We do not
have a gym we use a park gym across the street from us. We have to put
on our coats to go outside the gym across the street from are school.
The gym is clean but we want our own gym in our school. We cannot
practice or so at for recess because we don't have a gym.
The restrooms are really mess up The sink is leaky. We do not have soap
or paper towels. The restrooms are smelly and it does not have a
garbage cans. We do not have door stalls and have no privacy. Another
problem with our school is the lunchroom. We do not have a lunchroom we
eat in a hallway. We have tables and they make bad food and I am hungry
so I eat a lot of food before I go to school and they make bad food and
want until I go home. We have no choice.
Finally we also do not have an auditorium or stage at Byrd. This is a
problem because when we assembly’s people heads are in the way because
we have to have the assemblies in arced hallway. There is no seating
and difficult to see. There are never enough seats for everybody and
people have to stand as an example we had the Harlem globetrotters come
to our school. I couldn't see anything. If are school had stage I would
be happy because I would have a better chance to watch the show.
Based on the facts we need a new bird school. The things make our
school a hand plover to learn. I will like to visit to our place to see
how if you are. I think you would agree.
