Thanks so much for sending me your journals and your thoughts!  I really appreciate hearing from you because I was worried about how sad or mad the news might make you feel. After all the work you did, getting such news could have been really hard. But it seems that you all are optimists (you look on the bright side, as Manuel said in his piece). You are able to talk about your feelings (that way they don't stay bottled up) and see all that you did gain from this experience, and like someone said in his note, you were the only class who tried to do something. And look how much you did!
